Placid Wolves are a Newcastle / North East local rock band. Writing their own music and always looking for gigs.

With a wide variety of songs from loud to acoustic Placid Wolves just want to play rock and roll. For almost 5 years -between drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and playing poker- Ant (Vox / Guitar) and Mark (Lead Guitar) have been playing guitar together. Writing and perfecting their material a band was the next step. Various bassists and drummers had been in and out of the band, none of which worked out. Finally, after recording 4 songs and advertising for members, they auditioned more drummers and a bassists. Of them, Nick became an official member. Their bassist, Joe, is the most recent addition to the band.
